Turn on the radio, CD player, your computer, your mp3 player or any other number of electronic devices and you will be able to hear music. Go out to a nightclub, a pub, a bar, a theatre or any other public place including the street and you are likely to hear music in some sort and in some way or another.
Music is a large part of our modern culture and as we can see we can hear it in all walks of life as it fits into many other forms of our modern make up. It does not just apply to these however; staying in to watch the latest movie, television show, commercial or even waiting for your phone to go off will likely result in you hearing music in one of its many forms. It manages to aide and complement so many other things that make up our lives.
Without music, there would be a large gap in our worlds. Sitting in a waiting room or travelling in a car or a lift would be a lot more boring and strange without the help of some music to help pass the time.
